Anaplan Solution Lead
Hybrid preferred (East Orange, NJ)
Remote considered (Must be based in the USA)
$150k + Bonus
We are working with a global technology business on a newly created position within their financial technology group. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Anaplan professional to join an organization in the early stages of their Anaplan implementation in a role with significant career growth opportunities. Extensive FP&A implementation experience is required for this role. In time, you will drive the implementation of Anaplan across sales, supply chain and procurement.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Anaplan implementation, possess Agile and Scrum methodologies experience, and demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
You will report to Senior Leadership within the Finance Technology department and there is a clear pathway to a Senior Manager/Director Level role, taking ownership of overall Business Insights, not solely Anaplan.
Key Responsibilities:
Anaplan Implementation and Management:
- Lead the initial implementation of Anaplan with a focus on FP&A, workforce planning, compensation, expense, capital analysis, and revenue management.
- Serve as the Anaplan Product Owner, bridging the gap between finance and modeling.
- Administer Anaplan, manage access, and update models with new data.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to two model builders and business stakeholders.
- Challenge implementation partners on best practices and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Model Building and Data Management:
- Build models from scratch as required.
- Work with FP&A analysts in a sandbox environment to develop and refine models.
Strategic Expansion:
- Plan and oversee the expansion of Anaplan across sales, procurement, and supply chain within 2-4 years.
- Contribute to the overall business insights and own Power BI management.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Anaplan (Level 1, 2, 3 or Master Anaplanner) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in Anaplan implementation and administration.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in building and managing financial models.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with a preference for EST time zone.
