If you have a commitment to care and a drive for excellence, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Non-Emergency Stretcher Driver Job ResponsibilitiesSafely transport patients to and from medical facilities and their residences using a non-emergency stretcher vehicle.Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring the use of proper lifting techniques and patient handling protocols to prevent injuries.Secure patients onto the stretcher and in the vehicle according to safety standards and company policies.Monitor patient condition throughout transport and report any changes or emergencies to the appropriate personnel immediately.Maintain communication with dispatch to provide updates on patient pick-up and drop-off statuses.Complete and submit accurate transport documentation, including patient care records and service logs.Ensure the vehicle is clean, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues and ensure the vehicle is in proper working order.Comply with all traffic laws, healthcare regulations, and company policies during patient transport.Always provide compassionate care and respect patient privacy and confidentiality.Attend ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices in patient care and transport safety.
