Job Details
Transport patients in a safe and efficient manner throughout the hospital under the direction of supervisory personnel. Utilizes the automated transport system to perform duties. Performs routine cleaning of equipment used to transport patients. Adheres to universal infection control practices. Practices excellent customer service skills with all patients, visitors and employees. Transports deceased to the morgue. Qualifications: Preferred Previous patient transport experience is preferred and you must have excellent customer service skills Scheduling Requirements Days to work vary Hours 6 am-2:30 pm, 7 am-3:30 pm,8 am-4:30 pm,9 am-5:30 pm,10 am-6 pm with rotating weekends and holidays Essential Functions: Maintains a level of attendance and punctuality to meet the demands of the job. Reports to work in uniform, ID badge, pager, etc. in accordance with departmental policy.
