Senior Marketing Planning Analyst


Job Details

BASIC PURPOSE: Assist in planning and coordinating marketing initiatives, including tracking projects in Sales Force. Manage coding, invoicing, and expenses for marketing projects. Analyze the budget and advise on campaign prioritization and budget optimization. Responsible for daily tracking and updating marketing projects, analyzing data and make recommendation on actions that should be taken to drive revenue.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Manager on tracking marketing budget and expenses and provide guidance for prioritization of marketing campaigns and best utilization of budget. Report to Sr Leadership a Marketing Overview of the Annual A&P Budget.
  • Assist Manager on recommending audience built based on performance and alignment with annual marketing objectives.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information of marketing projects in the PMF system, including print, circulation quantities, deadlines, offers, budget, invoices, sailing and any other relevant information. Must determine the correct allocation of expenses for each marketing project.
  • Track and log marketing/sales invoices and payments. Determine the correct account and percentage of the expense allocation for each invoice. Serve as the gatekeeper for all marketing expenses and accrual tracking. Responsible for providing weekly tracking reports and identify areas of concern.
  • Report on weekly basis Global Marketing Calendar, Matrix, and Matrix Summary; and communicate any substantial changes or updates.
  • Ensure marketing month closing aligns with Corporate Finance and Accounting. Update reports for budget and accrual meetings and participate in meetings that have a direct impact to the Marketing Budget.
  • Reconcile postage reports and manage USPS account estimates.
  • Collaborate with Production Team aligning schedules and resources for all marketing projects.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE


EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing and Finance background preferred. Marketing field study or experience not required but a plus.


EXPERIENCE: 3 years' experience with accounting finance, auditing or analytics. Travel/cruise industry experience, preferred.
