**Moog Medical Group in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for an Assembler (entry level) to join their Ultrasonics Division.** The Ultrasonics Team is focused on development and manufacture of ultrasonic devices used in a variety of applications ranging from Ultrasonic Surgical Tools to Fluidics Sensors on Medical Equipment. With our unique expertise we are able to implement solutions for our customers that optimize patient safety, quality, performance and cost. **Core responsibilities are:**
* Read, Understand, and follow Assembly Instructions
* Perform in accordance with Assembly instructions and expectations of the Production Team
* Maintain the work area and ensure proper organization is sustained
* Identify and Report any issues, defects, or mistakes with product, equipment, or instructions in order for the team to learn and improve our processes/equipment.
* Measure, test, and inspect throughout the assembly process to ensure product meets the requirements as it is assembled.
* Complete test records with measured results in accordance with the Assembly Instructions
* Learn new Assembly Instructions to support other areas of Production as needed
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
* Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management
* Assist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requested;
* Complete required training in a timely manner
**Basic Qualifications:**
*What youll need to be a successful part of our team:*
* High school diploma or GED
* To be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
* Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure, and lead others to do the same.
* Basic Math Skills
* Basic/Intermediate computer skills
* Clear and color vision is required (ability to identify and distinguish colors, depth perception & judge distances)
* This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
