Packaging Worker
Summary
Inspects, labels, packs, and prepares products for shipment for a Business Unit(s)
Coordinates department activities and training in cooperation with the Warehouse Lead.
Responsibilities
- Identifies finished products and labels while inspecting for quality, places product in boxes and applies labels and assembles for shipping
- Quarantines non-conforming product
- Performs more advanced labeling duties and job orders to ensure optimal accuracy and efficiency
- Executes all duties and responsibilities of Finisher, Associate as needed
- Inspects, labels, packs, and prepares products for shipment for a Business Unit(s).
- Coordinates department activities and training in cooperation with the Warehouse Lead
Experience
2 years of production experience required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalency, preferred (but not required).
Other Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Follows and understands established operating processes
- Able to operate with minimal direct supervision
- Able to anticipate potential issues that will need resolution
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve productivity levels
Physical Requirements
Lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs
