**Opportunity**

At Kohler Companys internal agency, the Beacon, we are a powerhouse group of talented creatives that develop new innovative ideas, daily. We have an internal studio where we build and photograph/video all of Kohlers assets, and we are looking for an experienced interior designer/creative to join this team. This highly creative, passionate, and motivated individual will fluently concept, develop, design, and render all 3D spaces that depict ever-growing global

design trends. Spaces include bathrooms, kitchens, or merchandising in stores. You will be required to lead engaging presentations of their design work, with conviction and passion. You will be providing a memorable client experience and are constantly searching for insightful ways to go above and beyond to meet the needs of your clients. You will be creating custom designs with details and new ideas that embrace the thoughts of your clients, ultimately elevating

them to the next level. We are a team, therefore, working with others while instilling a calm and collaborative demeanor, is a must have. This individual may aspire to grow into additional areas of expertise, which is ideal. Stretch assignments are available for this individual to gain experience in art direction, graphic design, video, digital events and more.

**Specific Responsibilities**

Flawless 3D SketchUp renderings of bathrooms, kitchens and in-store merchandising solutions.

Decorate spaces with interior dcor to provide direction to the prop stylist.

Collect materials samples for presenting your work, and maintain the material library.

Develop concepts and solutions based on creative briefs.

Produce and compile beautiful presentations to send to clients, using InDesign & Photoshop.

Constantly evolve and grow with design software, and keep abreast with design trends.

Design spaces with an impeccable eye for multiple styles of design and budgets.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Self-starting and collaborative with other Beacon Creatives.

Attend weekly production and project kick-off meetings. Collect the information, and set your own timeline to achieve the deadline and manage many projects simultaneously.

Provide general set build direction to the studio, monitor build development and be available for questions.

Provide engaging presentations of your design work.

Eventual knowledge of the Kohler product portfolio.

**Skills/Requirements**

- Bachelor of Fine Arts / Science in Interior Architecture & Design or related degree.

- Entry level position or 1-2 years of professional/intern experience.

- Experience in interior decorating is a plus.

- Must have an updated online design portfolio to be considered.

- Daily software usage of SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Must have working knowledge of CAD software.

- Must have exceptional ability to apply and concept many forms of design and architecture styles.

- Must also be able to work cooperatively with clients to assess their communications needs.

- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

- A self-starter, multi-tasker, highly creative and flexible problem solver.
