Summary:The CAS (Custom Assembly & Services) Team Lead is in charge of getting all work orders and kitting tasks done for the business. They coordinate with the CAS Supervisor to make sure resources are used effectively to meet customer needs and finish projects on time. They also train CAS teammates to meet quality standards and aim for cost reduction, safety improvement, and continuous progress.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use or learn Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to present information 1:1 or in small groups
  • Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and comprehend instructions, pictorials, drawings, and customer specifications in English
  • Work safely, wear proper gear, keep things tidy, and report any incidents.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Follow instructions on work orders accurately, using drawings and specs provided.
  • Check quality as directed, including inspections and testing, to meet customer standards.
  • Prioritize tasks given by the CAS Supervisor, delegate work, and notify of any issues.
  • Clock in and out to track time spent on each job.
  • Keep workspace organized, log work orders, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Use tools and machines to process orders, like wire processors and engraving machines.
  • Use computer programs to manage orders, run machines, and communicate with the team.
  • Pack and ship orders, including special labeling and kitting, to meet customer needs.
  • Understand customer needs and act accordingly, even without clear direction.
  • Check others' work for accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Develop and maintain work procedures for assigned areas.
  • Help enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the CAS Supervisor with people-related matters and conflicts.
  • All other duties assigned.
