**JOB TITLE:** Warehouse Assistant **PURPOSE:** To fulfill delivery requirements of product in accordance with customer requests and assist in the daily warehouse operations. **IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:** Warehouse Manager
**SUPERVISES:** N/A
**EMPLOYEE STATUS:** Non-Exempt, hourly
**AREA OF PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITY:** This position is within the scope of all HVO deliveries including responsibility throughout the shipping/receiving area of HVO.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**
* Receive raw materials and generate appropriate documents
* Perform inventory cycle counts as required
* Execute accurate inventory movements of all products
* Fulfill material requests of internal customers
* Generate written reports as required
* Ship finished goods as required
* Operate company vehicles
* Practice good documentation practices (GDP)
* Perform non-routine tasks as requested by immediate supervisor
**GENERAL DUTIES:**
* Demonstrate knowledge of, and maintain, HVO safety rules and regulations
* Willingness to be cross-trained for other possible job assignments
* Demonstrate knowledge of, and follow, FDA and ISO standards as related to HVO's quality system
* Demonstrate good housekeeping practices at all times
* Attend recommended training as requested
**MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS / PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:**
* Must possess a valid driver's license and be approved by HVO insurance carrier
* Ability to obtain a valid fork lift operator's license
* Able to navigate HVO's inventory management system (IBS)
* Ability to use company e-mail
* Ability to work in a team atmosphere
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**
* Able to lift fifty pounds on a regular basis.
**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:**
* High School Diploma / GED preferred
