Fair & Rodeo Event Support Staff- July 23rd- July 30th

Hiring Range: $17- $18

The Event Support Staff assists staff with all event aspects for the annual Fair & Rodeo.

Temporary position - July 23rd- July 30th

Applicants are encouraged to apply by, Friday, July 12th, however, the job will be kept up until filled.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist staff with grounds set up, maintenance and clean up including the sponsor banner display, trash management.
  • Greets guests, distributes information, sells event merchandise, assists with taking tickets at Fair events, assists with maintenance of site, including trash pickup and removal, hanging banners and parking lot attendant duties.
  • Assist with Kids Crafts
  • Clean and monitor the Cowboy Lounge
  • Monitor grandstand's seating
  • Observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials safely and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Serves the community by demonstrating Eagle County Government mission and core values and following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Must be 14 years of age or older and able to provide personal identification; school ID's are accepted.
  • Customer service experience preferred
