Job Description:

The System Administrator is a skilled IT professional who specializes in supporting, monitoring, and maintaining an application. They perform a critical role and are responsible for ensuring compliance standards are met and polices are enforced so that the system is controlled and secure. In addition, the System Administrator works collaboratively with other IT professionals to deploy new capabilities, trouble-shoot/resolve issues, and ensure systems are running properly.

Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
  • Add, update, and remove user access.
  • Create and modify role-based responsibilities.
  • Update system profiles and enterprise level configurations.
  • Update job process configurations, such as schedule frequency and input parameters.
  • Migrate custom code from test environments to production environment.
  • Work during scheduled block releases and system maintenance on weekends.
  • Work outside normal business hours and be on call for critical deployments and emergency changes.
  • Respond to ITSM requests and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Document and adhere to IT processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other IT professionals, which include application SMEs, DBAs, developers, desktop technicians, infrastructure administrators, compliance experts, and security experts.
  • Be a liaison to, and interface with, the business users.
  • Propose process improvements and automate manual steps where possible.
  • Support SOX/ICFR and other audit requirements.
Position Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in application support.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in Azure GCC-High cloud environment, preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, and Dataverse, preferred but not required.
  • Experience with system administration functions.
  • Experience with writing database queries.
  • Familiar with testing system functionality and validating it works as expected after system changes.
  • Will work outside normal business hours.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledgeable in SOX/ICFR controls and compliance requirements. Has experience providing evidence to auditors.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in performing independent research of system capabilities and limitations.
  • Able to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Able to promote a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
  • Dedicated to achieving goals of the IT department.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
