Our client, a manufacturer in Port Jervis is seeking a maintenance technician to join their team. As a maintenance technician, you will be part of the staff providing the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery for the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance of manufacturing machines, repair and inspect the machinery.
Job Title: Machine Maintenance Technician
Location: Port Jervis, NY
Pay Range: $25.0/hr
What s the Job?
- Performing maintenance tasks (including troubleshooting and repairing) manufacturing machinery.
- Inspecting machinery to ensure proper operation
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintaining records of inspections, repairs and replacements
What s Needed?
- Experience in facilities maintenance or machinery maintenance required
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, along with ability to read schematics, blueprints and repair documents required
- Ability to fabricate, weld and perform other basic repairs required
- Experience in logic controllers and other automation system is beneficial
