In this role you will be a technology advocate. You must possess an engineering background with a concentration on technology and applicable software along with a passion for technology and learning.Responsibilities:This position will be responsible for serving as primary departmental resource for CAD drafting/modeling at the project levelCAD drafting/modeling will be performed in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards, as well as company standardsAssist in the development, implementation and deployment of CAD drafting/modeling and survey standards on a departmental level, as directedWork closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawingsMake drawing edits based on mark ups from client and/or EngineersCreate and/or modify base drawingsBe relied on as productive team member and CAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standardsBe able to work on multiple projects at the same timeAdheres to internal standards, policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Applicable Certification/Technical Trainings with 3+ years of experience in in CAD drafting/modeling at the project levelStrong knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong software troubleshooting skillsCAD Standards checkingStrong knowledge of PCs and networkingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPE/FE/EIT certification is a plusKnowledge of survey data collection workflows is a plusPossess a strong technical and communication skills.We recognize that the best way to provide services of the highest quality is by investing in our employees.
