Assistant Store Manager - Food Maxx - 39966 Cedar Blvd., Newark, CA 94560 The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) at Food Maxx works in tandem and close collaboration with the Store Manager to direct and lead all aspects of the overall and day-to-day store operations. The ASM is accountable for effectively managing Food Maxx store conditions, overseeing product quality, and always maintaining store inventory. The ASM assumes full control of the store in the absence of the Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager leads and directs the front-end to meet or exceed expected company service levels. The ASM is directly responsible for understanding the unique retail operations of a cost directed operation and achieving maximum sales and gross profits for total store operations.
