Works under the supervision of the Protection Manager/ Supervisor. Functions to protect facility and personnel from property loss and criminal activity. Provides services and assistance, as outlined by policies and procedures and directed by Management, to make the facility safe for employees, patients and visitors and to meet the expectations of Riverside Health System. What you will do. Ability to respond with flexibility to changes and adapts to varying work assignment. Monitors fire, intrusion, duress, and security alarm systems and responds as appropriate. Maintains a working knowledge of the infant security alarms (TO - Ts), Genetec access and video systems, Workhub, and Ominigo. Functions in emergency circumstances as directed. Operates communications equipment in keeping with assigned duties. Demonstrates the ability to work with new employee/co-workers to enhance retention and help reduce turnover of staff.
