Job Purpose:

Responsible for handling daily customer service duties and facility operational tasks as delegated by customer service manager. Performs a variety of tasks related to unit storage rentals to customers daily, checking reservations in the system, following up with customers on billings and move-in and move-out requirements; facility cleaning as needed.


Requirements:

Excellent communication and customer service skills over a variety of mediums, must be able to learn computer systems and assist clients both in person and over the phone. Adequate vision with or without correction for verifying written detail; able to lift and carry 40lbs safely; eye/hand/feet coordination. Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.


Environment:

Air-conditioned office environment with some work in air-conditioned storage units and loading bays.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Participates in customer service activities including, but not limited to order entry and fulfilling customer requests such as: unit upgrades, reservations, unit access issues handling complaints, problem solving, and reviewing accounts receivable information.

Promotes excellent communications between inside sales, outside sales, accounting, other branches, purchasing, and management.

Protects and maintains assigned Company assets.

Performs work in accordance with all safety rules and regulations.

Conducts duties and always represents Company in a professional and ethical manner.

Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of products and services offered.

May perform other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.

Requirements:



Education/Experience

  • Fluent English
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Team player and positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail

Physical Requirements


Required to sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop. Ability to walk up and down stairs, effectively use cleaning equipment and open overhead doors.








Compensation details: 20-20 Hourly Wage
