**Merchandise Intern**

What youll be doing:
* Comparison Shopping top competitor sites and understanding content opportunities for Quill
* Partner with cross functional team members to conduct exploratory research, collect the necessary data to populate the attribute values, and execute to the website
* Partner with key vendor partners to collect category insights, solidify the necessary attribute value content and learn about category and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with the sku operations team and onsite search team to execute top search and sku enhancements.
* Work cross functionally to enhance the customer experience and aim to create a best in class online shopping experience through the eyes of the customer.
* Utilize data and customer insights to optimize the online shopping experience and revenue through search and all available merchant tools.
What you bring to the table:
* Make data driven decisions to determine the attributes most important to drive success within the category
* Work to understand the customer journey on the website to provide suggestions on how to best execute merchandising and onsite search tactics.
* Recommend ideas and present insights and enhancements to the category merchant and department director based on research and findings.
* Collaborate within the department and with cross-functional partners.
**Qualifications :**
Whats needed- Basic Qualifications
* Working towards a Bachelors degree in Finance, Pricing, Merchandising or related Analytical field.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of MS Access is preferred.
* Position is hybrid associates will need to be able to work from home and come into the office as needed.
