Sworn officer, firearms qualified. Establishes and maintains a safe atmosphere for faculty, staff, students and visitors at an institution by providing police and security services. General Requirements of the position: Valid drivers license Applicants must pass physical agility (PAT) prior to the final offer Drug testing and medical management required Selected candidate(s) must successfully pass a background before the official hire date Selected candidates(s) must successfully complete a pre-employment psychological evaluation before the official hire date Selected candidate(s) must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination and be within a certain height and weight range per WV State Police Academy requirements to be able to attend the Academy.
