Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures . Demostrates good manufacturing practices. Veriify materials received against purchase requisition. Transport materials and items from receiving and/or to designated areas using a forklift or hand truck. Cross trained on production positions (cutter, palletizer, dumper, relief operator) to be able to fill in for production employee's on vacation. Maintain assembly warehouse, ensure neat and orderly storage of material. Determine material needed, material location and proper destination. Release material to production area. Notify supervisor of low inventory supply. Operate hoist to lift heavier material and equipment, which needs to be transported.
