Are you a seasoned machinist with a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving? We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
As a Machinist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Operating, setting up, and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate production.
3. Conducting quality control checks to maintain the highest level of product standards.
4. Utilizing precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and alignment of machine components.
5. Performing manual machining tasks using lathes, mills, and grinders.
6. Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
7. Applying your metalworking skills to shape and treat metals to meet product specifications.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
9. Collaborating with team members to improve processes and achieve production goals.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Machinist position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with CNC machine operation, including setting up, programming, and troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and the use of precision measurement tools.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications.
5. Demonstrated skills in manual machining, including lathe, mill, and grinder operation.
6. Solid understanding of metalworking techniques and principles.
7. Experience with equipment maintenance and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training will be a plus.
