**REMOTE OPPORTUNITY!**

Successful candidates will have the ability to provide excellent customer service and support to our Essendant Customers. In addition, there will be the opportunity to work to ensure a successful continued business relationship with our Customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Managing inbound and outbound phone calls and email

* Provides customer service regarding shipment/delivery, returns, credit, order status, corrections, and other customer concerns.

* Address ad-hoc customer requests, such as:

* Guide customers on self-service options, provide quotes, pricing and freight estimates, complete order entry, provide credit validation / reconciliation, address sample and product shopping requests, conduct stock checks and vendor/item inquiries, issue resolution (delivery issues, credits, returns)

* Proactively identify customer process improvements

* Performs other duties as assigned.

**Remote Work Requirements**

* Flextime and/or Remote Work associates are responsible for having a designated and properly appointed work area, maintaining a safe work environment, and securing their equipment and work products in line with Essendants policies

* Associates who begin a Remote Work arrangement must have, at a minimum, a reliable, high-speed internet connection for remote access (VPN), consisting of 25 Mbps or greater download speeds and 5 Mbps upload or greater, a Cell Phone or an analog landline that meets company requirements

**Education and Experience**

* High School diploma or GED required.

* Prior 6 months to 1 year of customer service or internal care related experience preferred

* Computer navigation to include:

+ Microsoft Suite of programs including Outlook

+ Proficient in Office 365 helpful

* Tasks such as: copy and paste, working efficiently with multiple monitors and general knowledge of screen functions (minimize and opening tabs or pages)

* Remote experience is a plus
