Position Summary:

As a Marketing Insights and Analytics Manager at Delta Defense LLC, you'll spearhead the crucial efforts of our marketing insights team, focusing on maximizing customer acquisition and member retention. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of analytical rigor, technical proficiency, and strategic acumen to drive our marketing strategies across lead generation, conversion, and member retention.

In this collaborative and hands-on position, you will work closely with analysts and leaders across the company to set priorities and deliver solutions that enhance our overall effectiveness. Your work will not only cover digital analytics but may also extend to in-person sales strategies and qualitative data analysis.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing operations, you will set the vision for our marketing analytics, oversee the marketing data strategy, and develop audience strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a marketing analytics roadmap in partnership with external agencies, marketing technology solutions, and cross-functional analytical and technical teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing data and analytics strategy and pioneer a multi-touch attribution model.
  • Manage, mentor and coach marketing analysts to efficiently deliver actionable insights to lower customer acquisition costs (advertising & promotion efficiency) and improve member lifetime value.
  • Drive project and thought leadership. Partner with enterprise analytics on shared analytics roadmap and lead cross-functional embedded analytics team members.
  • Manage analytics agency relationships and partner with finance for sales and expense budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support and serve business stakeholders. Lead self-serve marketing analytics training and enablement
  • Ensure marketing data integrity, tracking accuracy, and align definitions across business lines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, statistics, finance, web development, or similar field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or digital analytics, digital marketing, or a blend.
  • 3+ years of formal leadership experience in a team focused on data analysis or marketing.
  • Proven experience as a thought leader in marketing analytics and data strategy, with a successful track record of aligning stakeholders and colleagues around a roadmap that influences business strategies.
  • Proven track record of leveraging Media Mix Analytics (MMA) and/or Multi-touch Attribution (MTA) to drive business strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large and complex data sets.
  • Experience with web analytics, A/B split testing tools, and tag management, including proficiency in Google Analytics 4, DataStudio, RegEx, Segment, GTM, VWO, and BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and advertising platforms, including Tableau, Segment, Braze, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, Unbounce, etc.
  • Strong grasp of statistical concepts, including statistical significance and confidence intervals.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to use data to influence business decisions.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and their objectives.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, SAS, Python, etc.
  • Experience with content management systems (such as WordPress) and mobile application analytics preferred.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills with the flexibility to frequently shift directions.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Previous experience in a B2C membership organization preferred.

Preferential treatment will be given to candidates who live within a commutable distance to our headquarters in West Bend, Wisconsin with a hybrid approach to both remote work and in-office work.

Anticipated application close date: August 2, 2024

Annual salary range $100,000-$125,000 commensurate with experience. Role is also eligible for company bonus.
