A.Duties & Responsibilities
- The machine/assembly operator reports to the shift supervisor. He/she is expected to operate a moulding machine, assembly machine or perform manual assembly duties in the most productive and efficient manner with due regard to safety.
- The operator is accountable for the quality of the products produced at the work station.
- The operator must be present at the work station five minutes before the shift begins to assure a smooth transition.
- The operator is responsible for communicating with the incoming or outgoing shift to assure a smooth transition during shift change.
- The operator is responsible for reading and understanding the operator instructions at the workstation.
- Ensure that the workstation is clean at all times.
B.Minimum Qualifications- Ability to take instruction
C.Required Skills- Understanding of Kanban/labelling requirements.
- Ability to detect basic moulding defects such as sink, flash, etc.
- No colour vision deficiency.
- Excellent motor skills and dexterity.
- Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function
- Forms, Tags and Labels governing job function
