Awesome Direct Hire opening for a Staff Accountant with a manufacturing company in Agawam, MA!
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliation, general ledger transactions, fixed asset accounting, management reporting, and accounts payable administration and collaboration with the off-site payables team. This role requires good understanding of GAAP and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Complete month-end closing, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, closing AP, general accruals, and capital spending reviews.
Participate in annual audit and inventory.
Analyze daily bank activity and bank reconciliations.
AP management and review of outside processing resources.
Great direct hire opportunity offering full benefits package, paid time off, and 401K. Salary will be in the range of $75-80,000 depending on experience.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Cost accounting experience is a plus
Experience with Sage or other ERPs is a plus
