Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various manufacturing equipment, including wrappers, mixers, motors, and conveyors in a production environment.
  • Install and repair control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using advanced troubleshooting skills and implement timely repairs.
  • Inspect machinery for irregularities and collaborate with supervisors and team members on maintenance strategies.
  • Disassemble faulty equipment and replace or repair components as necessary.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery components to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Install, program, and maintain automated machinery and PLC systems.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities and adhere to safety standards and procedures.

What you need for this position:

  • Proficiency in PLC programming across multiple platforms and troubleshooting of VFDs, servo drives, and motor controls.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in electrical installations and repairs (120V 480V).
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing industrial ovens and proofers.
  • Familiarity with CMMS for managing work orders and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
  • Formal training in electrical or electronic engineering technology is required.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and experience using PPE in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environmental conditions.
