  • This next role will be in Dallas, but we also service Bluffview, Highland Park, Knox-Henderson, Melshire Estates, Midway Hollow, Northwood Hills, Oak Lawn, Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Prestonwood, Russwood Acres, Univeristy Park and Uptown.
Compensation:

$18 - $20 / hour (the position will start from $18-$20 per hour before, depending upon experience plus bonuses, 100% client gratuity, and future performance reviews)

$1000 - $2000 / month (earnings will be dependent on your availability, performance, and client demand)
  • Additional bonuses for overnight service (normally 8pm to 7am, working from a client's home).
  • Mileage reimbursement (we design routes to limit driving to 10 minutes or less between clients whenever possible).
  • Increased pay for off-peak shifts (evenings/weekends/holidays), candidate and client referrals bonuses.
  • Paid training, including Pet CPR and First Aid Certifications
The responsibilities:
  • Create a safe and positive walking environment for our clients' dogs.
  • Follow the client-provided care instructions, including training preferences.
  • Provide detailed and attentive care for our client's cats.
  • Give our clients first-class customer service with a personal touch.
  • Communicate with clients via phone/app and photographs.
  • Contribute to the team effort by working as a team player.
  • Practice time management to ensure on-time arrivals for all assigned visits.
  • Travel to our office location upon request.
The ideal candidate:
  • Former Wag and Rover walkers will appreciate the support Privileged Paws provides.
  • An honest, patient, and enthusiastic candidate who can provide our client's dogs and cats with the highest quality visits possible.
  • The candidate should have a strong understanding of safety and time management.
  • Previous professional or volunteer experience with animals is preferred, but a positive attitude with a desire to learn is just as important.
  • The candidate should enjoy an active work environment, walking independently and working outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
  • Candidates with evening, weekend, and holiday availability are given special consideration.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for people looking to start a career or grow their current professional experience with dogs.
  • Many members of our staff were previously dog walkers with on-demand services, doggy daycare staff, dog groomers, or volunteers at a local shelter.
  • The candidate should have an innate desire to care for animals while ensuring their safety.

We are a diverse team, and we welcome all individuals with a love of animals to apply!
