Job Details

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee a team and manage all warehouse functions, including material handling, receiving, kitting, and shipping. This position involves direct supervision, motivating the team, leading by example, and fostering a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing inbound, outbound, and internal material movement processes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise overall stockroom operations
  • Provide guidance and direction, and improve individual performance through clear expectations, training, coaching, and mentoring of the warehouse team
  • Work with support functions and customers to enhance company objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Achieve departmental metrics by taking strategic actions or implementing process improvements
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure that material movement processes and procedures within and outside the MRP system are followed and documented
  • Oversee company cycle counting procedures to maintain accurate inventory
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipment transactions
  • Communicate with customers to address shipping and receiving inquiries and resolve issues
  • Ensure general safety and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain good communication skills and meet deadlines
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:
  • Experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in managing inventory and handling procedures
  • Familiarity with carrier portals such as UPS and FedEx
  • Ability to work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, and Management teams
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
