Warehouse Manager


Job Details

As a Plant Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dairy facility. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory
management, coordinating with production teams, and maintaining safety protocols.

What You Will Do:(other duties may be assigned)

Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and
finished dairy products.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely replenishment
of stock.
Implement efficient storage practices to optimize space utilization.

Logistics:
Plan and execute the movement of dairy products, packaging materials, and
ingredients on site and within the warehouse.
Coordinate with transportation teams for timely delivery to 3PL or other facilities.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of all inbound and outbound shipments.

Quality Control:
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain product quality standards and
assist in butter grading as needed.
Conduct regular inspections of stored dairy products to prevent contamination.
Implement FIFO (first in, first out) practices to minimize product waste.

Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and guidelines for warehouse staff.
Conduct safety training sessions and drills.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.

Team Leadership:
Supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators, inventory clerks, and loaders.
Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
Address performance issues promptly and provide coaching as needed.

Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet
jacks).
Schedule routine inspections and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.

What You Bring:
Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a dairy processing
plant.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software and inventory tracking
systems.

Compensation range:$67,724-$91,607(individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge, and skills)
