Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to

lead our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the action sports market, exceptional sales leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, as well as managing our rep force to ensure maximum market penetration and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets

2. Lead motivate, and mentor the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales goals

3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, and

distributors

4. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify

opportunities for growth and innovation

5. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales

strategies with product launches and marketing campaigns

6. Manage and optimize sales processes, including pricing, forecasting, and inventory

management

7. Evaluate the performance of sales representatives and provide ongoing training and

support to enhance their effectiveness

8. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to

promote brand awareness and expand market presence

9. Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and make data-driven

decisions

10. Continuously assess and improve sales strategies and tactics to stay ahead of

market changes and competitive pressures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

within the action sports industry

Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and building strong customer

relationships

Deep understanding of the action sports market, including trends, competitors, and

distribution channels.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans

Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems

Willingness to travel as needed
