If you have a strong legal & compliance background in Investment Management and or Private Equity, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, our client wants you on our team of forward-thinkers dedicated to delivering exceptional results for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Offer counsel on investment management areas such as fund formation, regulatory adherence, and drafting documentation.
- Perform due diligence on investment prospects and advocate for clients in negotiations and conflicts.
- Remain current on regulatory shifts, minimizing legal risks linked to investment management endeavors.
- Cultivate enduring client partnerships, providing customized legal guidance and solutions.
Requirements:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the North Carolina State Bar
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Investment Management or Private Equity space
- Experience with fund compliance, 40 Act, ETF's
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
