Job Title: Distribution Specialist - III
Job Location: Oceanside, CA (On site)
Job Duration: 18 months+ (possible extension)
Pay range: $30 - $35/hour on W2
Hours: Monday-Friday 7 am 4 pm (rare occasion for any weekend work; would have advanced notice if it occurs).
General Role Description: perform activities to support manufacturing operations, product shipping, and material receiving to ensure inventory accuracy and timely supply of materials to manufacturing production suites to meet demands. This role will apply to all three functions within the Materials Management department from receiving, kitting, and shipping activities.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Perform and participate in the materials management operations and activities to support Production operations team and other internal customers
Manage the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities
Receive incoming shipments of non-GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures
Dispense and kit GMP materials to support production operations
Prepare and deliver raw materials, samples, supplies, etc. to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed
Maintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials
Performing inventory cycle counts
Perform accurate ERP transactions
Monitor Kanban area to ensure optimum replenishment of materials
Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and escalate when appropriate
Cross-train in all areas of the warehouse operations
Pick, Pack, and Ship finished product, materials, and equipment as required per established policies and procedures
Ensure individual employee training is up-to-date
Adhere to all safety procedures and GMP s requirements at all times
Keep warehouse operation clean and inspection ready at all times
Assist in the revision of area SOP s
Forklift certified - active certification is preferred, but ability to re-certify is allowed (must have held a certification in the past). Forklift Duties will be 1-2 times per week. Training will be provided onsite.
