Correctional LPN Job Details: LPN will have strong IV skills, critical thinking, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment - Pay Rate: $1,150-$1,285 gross per week
- Schedule: 10:45PM 7AM
- Available Shift: Days, five shifts per week
- Start Date: July 10, 2024
- Located In: Lambertville, NJ
- Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least one year of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid LPN license and be willing to obtain NJ licensure.
As a Registered Nurse in a correctional care setting, youll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, promoting their well-being and rehabilitation. This position works in partnership with a team of correctional staff and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient health status, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions as needed
- Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
- Monitoring patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary
- Collaborating with healthcare team members, correctional staff, and community resources to ensure continuity of care
- Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
