Job Summary: The Call Center Customer Service Assistant is responsible for handling customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests via phone, email, or chat. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to resolve issues promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding products and services.
Handle and resolve customer complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
Process orders, returns, and exchanges according to company policies.
Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors when necessary.
Provide feedback on recurring issues to help improve customer service processes.
Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies to provide informed assistance to customers.
Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets set by the call center management.
Assist in training new team members when required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in using customer service software, databases, and tools.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
