What will you be doing?

Press Operator
Press operators use printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.They work in a variety of industries, including publishing, advertising, and manufacturing.
Press operators are responsible for many tasks, including:
- Preparing presses: Installing plates, adjusting ink levels, and loading paper into the feeders
- Operating machines: Ensuring print quality and adhering to safety regulations and standards
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Maintaining inventory: Keeping supplies needed to operate printing presses stocked
- Performing maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on presses
- Reporting: Drafting and submitting reports for daily production totals
- Keeping clean: Maintaining a clean area around printing machiner
