Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant:

  • Efficiently enter invoices into QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organization.
  • Prepare and make bank deposits, ensuring timely processing and secure handling of funds.
  • Assist the accounting team with month-end closing procedures, contributing to the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
  • Maintain organized and accessible financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements for the Accounting Assistant:

  • 1-2 years of experience working with QuickBooks, demonstrating proficiency in handling financial data and transactions.
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and account maintenance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • A keen eye for accuracy, ensuring that financial data is error-free and reliable.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan is a bonus, but a general aptitude for learning new software is essential.
