We are representing an equipment manufacturer that produces crushers, shredders, and grinders in New Jersey that is seeking a Production Manager to join the team!

Job DetailsThis is a key position helping run a growing equipment manufacturer with sales both nationally and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with knowledge of machine shop practice and manufacturing, excellent scheduling and follow up capability, leadership skills, excellent people and communication skills along with a comfort with manufacturing computer software.
- Supervise all Production phases to assure high productivity and on time deliveries
- Plan Production Schedule to meet shipping dates and volume needs
- Review Drawings and determine best manufacturing method
- Interface with engineering dept. to assure drawings are manufacturable
- Plan Inventory levels and re-order points
- Determine best methods to manufacture parts and routing
- Decide on Make/Buy decisions
- Use manufacturing software for scheduling, costing and loading
- Work closely with company president to assure manufacturing is in accordance with company plans and requirements.
- Find and qualify vendors and oversee their quality
- Estimating
- Work with Shop Foreman and Purchasing and other Production Personnel
