E&I Plant technicians are hired at basic level as members of a work team. E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously update and train to increase their skills to meet our ever-changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals and maintaining the high level of quality in everything thing they do.

Responsibilities

E&I technicians do various types of work, including but not limited to the following:

  • Make electrical repairs to run high-speed equipment.
  • Execution of planned maintenance tasks.
  • Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment.
  • Get involved, take charge of situations, and confront business-related problems.
  • Display electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and data.

In order to perform the work described above in our manufacturing atmosphere, E&I plant technicians:
  • Use basic hand and power tools.
  • Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms.

Twist, turn and bend; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.

Qualifications

All applicants must:

Be 18 years of age or older.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
Must have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2+ years Industrial.
Electrical experience.
Must be Low Voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within first month of
onboarding.
Need to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed
application.
Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC
controls and computers.
