JOB TYPE: Direct Hire
COMPENSATION: $65K - $75K
SHIFT: 7am-3:30pm
Position Overview:
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively lead a construction team. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in either modular or single/multifamily residential construction, with a focus on precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Position Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical blueprints accurately.
- Train all employees to support various stations of construction- including the installation of framing, ceilings, doors, windows, flooring, etc.
- Build and develop a team, creating clear common purpose and promoting good team spirit.
- Ensure manufacturing area appropriately supports the execution of the production plan for the site.
- Conduct interviews, hire, train, and develop production workers.
- Provide support for quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
- Conduct and promote a safe and injury free work environment
- Balance safety, quality, cost, and productivity utilizing 5s/Lean manufacturing principles
- Properly operate power tools, forklifts, and construction equipment
- Lead internal meetings to communicate key production topics and engage with the workforce.
Position Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of supervision experience in a construction environment.
- Offsite, stick-built (ground up- not remodeling) construction experience
- 3+ years applying Lean manufacturing principles
- Detail oriented and comfortable applying Lean manufacturing principles
- Willingness to give and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Preferred Requirements:
- 8+ years experience in residential, modular, or multi-family construction
