Job Title: Payroll and Bookkeeping Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional for the role of Payroll and Bookkeeping Specialist. This role will involve executing full-cycle payroll processing for over 100+ diverse clients with staffing ranging from 1-100 employees per client from various industries. In addition to running weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls, the incumbent will also be responsible for performing client bookkeeping duties.
This position offers an excellent learning curve for a payroll professional who is open to mastering bookkeeping or a bookkeeper who is interested in managing payroll. Training will be provided on our software system associated with UltraTax. The ideal candidate should be willing to cross-train and possess a strong adaptability factor along with a keen sense for accounting acumen.
Job Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle payroll processing for a range of clients on weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly bases
- Bookkeeping duties for clients during non-peak payroll times
- Understanding and mastering software associated with UltraTax
- Cross-training in other areas as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience with full-cycle payroll processing
- Strong accounting acumen and eagerness to learn the bookkeeping side of the business
