The Graphic Design program at Keene State College seeks a dynamic graphic designer, photographer, or digital media artist to teach ART 253 Digital Imaging, a sophomore-level course for the Fall 2024 semester. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Course Description: ART 253 Digital Imaging (4 Credits T/ TH 12-1:45 PM)A studio investigation of digital image creation and visual literacy as it relates to photography and new media in the twenty-first century. This course includes an extensive introduction to Adobe Photoshop, image manipulation and preparing digital images for print, web, and other digital media. Core skills developed include image adjustment, layering and compositing, selection tools, brushes, ideation, and the development of visual concepts. Content reinforces and enhances conceptual and critical visualization skills, image-making methods, and production techniques introduced in lower-level classes. Instruction will be in person.
