A pioneering company in the thermal processing and test solutions industry, renowned for its extensive portfolio of industrial and laboratory ovens and furnaces, is seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler in New Columbia, PA.
This is an immediate 1st Shift Opening: 6am - 2:30pm.

- Assemble electrical panel sub-assemblies, ensuring adherence to specific product standards.
- Execute precise drilling and tapping on sheet metal panels as per layout requirements.
- Install all electrical components and hardware, wiring panels according to schematic designs.
- Conduct quality surveys, verifying the accuracy of work, and maintain inventory records of electrical sub-assemblies.
- Navigate and report issues through an automated feedback system, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Adhere to NEC codes, focusing on conductor sizing, wiring methods, and overcurrent protection among other standards.
- Embrace and apply knowledge of Industrial OSHA regulations, prioritizing safety in all operations.
Job Requirements
- A two-year electrical degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting simple instructions, short correspondence, and effectively presenting information.
- Strong mathematical skills, capable of performing basic arithmetic and precise measurements.
- Demonstrated ability to apply common sense in executing tasks and solving problems.
- Basic computer literacy, with a preference for candidates skilled in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Preferred certifications include an Electrical certificate or diploma.
- Familiarity with using basic and electrical-specific hand tools, and the ability to read electrical schematics.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Openness to overtime (OT pays time and a half) work as needed to meet production deadlines, with a preference for candidates with production line experience.
