Job Description

The Warehouse Associate II keeps Safelite on the move by loading glass shipments and restocking pallets in our warehouses. These dedicated team members make sure our glass gets where it needs to go by through effective warehouse operations and occasionally driving delivery trucks for glass transportation.

What Youll Do

  • Safely operate the Forklift and Reach Truck.
  • Safely operate the Picker to stock and pick glass inventory in the warehouse at heights of up to 40 ft.
  • Manage, log, and stock incoming automotive glass, accessories, and supply items.
  • May drive and deliver automotive glass, accessories, and other items from the warehouse to store locations using a DOT/ Non-DOT vehicle.
  • Provide inventory maintenance/bin maintenance and cycle counting.
  • Receive store returns or Distribution Center replenishment shipments.
  • Outbound shipping functions for order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate to maintain and evolve internal shipping and receiving processes.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What Youll Need

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • 1-3 years experience warehouse or manufacturing, including experience operating Forklifts required.
  • Ability to successfully pass a driving assessment and regularly follow safe driving practices when operating the vehicle.
  • Ability to operate (or learn to operate) Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Eventual completion of MHE certification (Order Picker, Reach Truck and Forklift) required.
  • Ability to meet all physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly and 50lbs occasionally, and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
