OVERVIEW:

Marketing Coordinator will assume primary responsibility for the coordination of the company's marketing plan and internal/external communications.

REPORTS TO:

Sales Manager

WORK HOURS:

Monday-Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm

**Marketing Coordinator must be willing to occasionally work outside "normal" hours and travel to participate in relevant events and related training opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be responsible for the execution of the company's marketing plan to support the company's brand and business/community promotion. Work with departmental leadership to develop and manage a marketing budget.
  • Assume primary responsibility for the company's digital platforms including, but not limited to, websites and social media platforms. To ensure data is current and content is continuously updated and relevant. Work with company management to determine frequency and types of updates.
  • Develop marketing materials for the Sales Team. Approach should be standardized to present a consistent message and appearance across company business offerings (3PL (cold/dry), lease, transportation).
  • Coordinate the development and placement of company print and digital ads. Work with company executive and sales management to determine most impactful platforms in which to participate.
  • Oversee and develop content for external communications.
  • Partner with Human Resources and other departments to develop and distribute internal company communications.
  • Coordinate the development and procurement of promotional materials. Work with department management to set a budget for same.
  • Work with sales team in planning for and supporting existing and prospective customer site visits.
  • Work with departmental managers and company executive leadership in the planning and execution of events for both internal and external audiences.
  • Provide support for lease customer communications.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and other internal meetings as assigned.
  • Train to be able to provide back-up support for members of the sales team.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for news and trade publications, promotional material vendors, website administrators, and other related persons and organizations.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate, productive and professional relationships with all parties internal and external.
  • In all things, decisions and actions should conform to the standards and expectations laid out in the Corporate Keystones document.
  • Other Sales and Marketing related duties as assigned.

PRIOR WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
  • Minimum of two years of demonstrable marketing experience
  • Portfolio of representative and related design materials
  • Understanding of Website Design for optimal return.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related discipline.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both spoken and written.
  3. Organized and structured
  4. Computer Literacy - working knowledge of publishing and design software packages.
  5. Flexible and adaptable - open to changes in schedules and responsibilities.
  6. Multi-Tasking Capability - ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  7. Open and available for additional training and education as determined necessary
  8. Available for some occasional overnight travel to company locations and for training
