TheMechanical CAD Draftsmanopportunity requires candidates to:
- Responsible for the drafting and modeling of piping for chilled water, steam, condensate and containment system layouts using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D or SolidWorks.
- Create and/or modify existing drawings and models
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, project managers, and production staff.
- Ensure drawings meet project/tender deadlines
- May be responsible for some material take-offs, ordering of materials and distribution of drawings to proper personnel.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the
Mechanical CAD Draftsmanposition:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- 2 years of college preferred or equivalent experience.
- Drafting: 1 year preferred
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Background in, mechanical contracting and knowledge of mechanical systems would be a plus.
- Candidates with some working experience are welcome
- Possess initiative and good interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player and be able to work independently on challenging projects that may have tight timelines
The starting pay rate for the
Mechanical CAD Draftsmanis $23-$24 per hour based on experience, plus overtime as needed.

Pay Details:$23.00 to $24.00 per hour
