An exciting opportunity for Software Engineer is available in Anderson, IN. This position will be handling software designs and will develop software applications. A successful candidate will have
experience troubleshooting electrical and controls systems including, instrumentation, data communications and electrical wiring.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Designs and develops software applications
* Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting through the application development process
* Participates in the software design through design reviews, problem solving support, analytical support, design process, and design tools
* Demonstrates ability to work cross functionally for hardware and software
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in "object oriented" code, C/C++/C#, JAVA, Python, VB.net and/or embedded software development
* Min of 5 years experience within power electronics
* Experience or the ability to code in IEC61131-Structured Text using CodeSys but specific knowledge of those is less important than solid object-oriented coding skills
* Strong working knowledge of real-time control applications, normally done by an Arduino or a PLC
including instrumentation, data communications, and electrical wiring practices with strong electrical print reading
* Great Customer Service and Leadership Skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to obtain government security clearance
* C+ or C++ experience preferred
* Hardware experience is a benefit
* Travel up to 30% is possible
