Technical Support Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Customer Support Specialist, Software for a direct hire opportunity with a rapidly growing industry leader.


**on-site M-F in Ocala, FL **


***20% travel is required, out-of-state travel 4-5 days a month***


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, electrical department, and management to develop new sales/upgrades and address customer inquiries
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer IT departments, answering their questions and coordinating installations, escalating issues to management when necessary
  • Perform in-house and on-site installation of PCs and software to meet project requirements
  • Provide on-site customer training on the operation and maintenance of software
  • Report inventory adjustments according to inventory practices


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in training, customer support, or working directly with customers
  • 1+ years of experience in a computer technician environment, equivalent military experience
  • Ability to travel regularly


Education:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science and/or CompTIA A+ certification preferred, though similar vocational training and experience will be considered


Skills:

  • SQL experience a plus
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred


Compensation:
