Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Skilled Labor position in the Miami, Florida Coatings Division. We are looking for a highly driven individual that possesses a good work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail. Essential Functions:Maintain a safe, clean, and productive working environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift. Inspect and ensure the safe use and disposition of production fixtures, chains and hooks. Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking. Hand wire small to medium-sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing. Loads and unloads racks and fixtures to maximize weight without compromising quality. Ability to operate pneumatic grinders, pneumatic strappers, acetylene torches, manual strap cutter, banding machine. Using files, grinders and/or wire brushes, removes icicles, etc. so material meets specification. Follows all recycling procedures i.e. recycling of zinc...Material Handler, Manufacturing
