Job Summary:
Bell & Bell GMC, a leading dealership in Little River, South Carolina, is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable GM Certified Diesel Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits, including commission. As an individual contributor, the Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and other mechanical systems in GM vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for diesel mechanics and extensive experience with GM vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics to identify issues with diesel engines and other mechanical systems in GM vehicles
- Repair and maintain diesel engines, including fuel systems, exhaust, and emissions control systems
- Follow and maintain dealership and manufacturer standards for quality and safety
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repair timelines and any additional recommendations
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain current knowledge of GM technology and vehicles
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- GM Certified Diesel Technician with at least 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of GM vehicles and their diesel engines
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and work on vehicles in various positions
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
