Volt is immediately hiring a Customer Service Specialist in COLUMBUS, OH 43219.

As a Customer Service Specialist,you will:

Main responsibilities:
Manage the shipment of product from manufacturing and distribution locations in the Americas toClient affiliates and direct Client customers worldwide

Allocate product to ensure maximum container utilization and minimize transportation costs

Ensure prompt, accurate and efficient handling of communications concerning shipments and any other relevant aspect of the business

Monitor key performance indicators for responsible area, perform root cause analysis, and develop and implement corrective action plans to improve levels of performance

Maintain the master arrivals schedule (MAS) to ensure replenishments are meeting market demand and safety stock targets

Identify continuous improvement initiatives to improve overall effectiveness of the supply chain, increase customer service, and reduce operating costs

Maintain customer and shipping requirements including system parameters, policies, and procedures

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external supply chain partners

Act as customer representative in the supply chain department

Skills:
SAP
Microsoft Excel
International logistics preferred but not required
Conflict resolution

EDUCATION:

  • Associates degree.
Schedule:8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.

Pay Rate: $22-$24.28/hr per hour.
