Job Description:
IMMEDIATELY HIRING - SHOP ASSISTANT (BLANDING AIRPORT)
$18.00/HOUR
FULL TIME MONDAY-FRIDAY SCHEDULE
The Shop Assistant assigned to a Fixed Wing Regional Maintenance Facility (Depot) is responsible for performing hangar maintenance, janitorial functions, and aircraft cleaning/servicing tasks as per the duties and responsibilities listed below to the highest degree of competence and safety in compliance with all company policy and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs minor hangar maintenance tasks as directed.
- Performs minor equipment maintenance and servicing tasks as directed.
- Performs janitorial services of the hangar floor area, shops and offices, as directed.
- Performs aircraft exterior washing and interior cleaning and detailing tasks as directed.
- Performs pickup and delivery services and runs administrative errands.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Regional Maintenance Manager.
Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in contorted positions.
- Possess a good mechanical aptitude and the ability to use general hand tools.
- Possess a strong work ethic, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work in a team environment with an eagerness to contribute to the overall success of the Maintenance department and the Company.
